This page shows how MathJax (a cross-browser JavaScript display engine) renders and displays mathematical symbols within expressions in web browsers, using MathML, LaTeX and ASCIIMathML markup. MathJax was founded by the American Mathematical Society, Design Science, Inc., and the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics. Please try the context menu by right-clicking (on Windows) or control-clicking (on MacOS) on any mathematics produced by MathJax.
This is an improved test page of MathJax. The original looks like this.
Here are some \(\rm\TeX\) commands for your convenience. You can copy and paste them into the input box above. (You can omit the \begin{equation} and \end{equation} ends respectively but, the \begin{eqnarray} and \end{eqnarray} are mandatory.)

And here is an inline expression: \(\sqrt{3x-1}+(1+x)^2\). Yes, this is an inline expression.
The gravitational acceleration is \(g_\varphi = 9,780\mathop{318}\cdot\mathop(1+0,005\mathop{302}\mathop4\mathop{sin^2\varphi}-\mathop0,000\mathop{005}\mathop8\mathop{sin^22\varphi})-3,086×10^{-6}h\)
where
\(h\) – altitude (above sea level, in meters),
\(\varphi\) – latitude (in degrees).
You can check it out here.
Other examples:
\begin{equation}\color\blue{\int_DdA\frac{\partial g}{\partial x}=\oint dy g(x,y)}\end{equation}
A szinusztétel egy geometriai tétel, miszerint egy tetszőleges háromszög oldalainak aránya megegyezik a szemközti szögek szinuszainak arányával. Tehát \begin{equation}\frac{a}{b}=\frac{sin\alpha}{sin\beta}\end{equation} vagy (ritkábban) \begin{equation}a:b:c=sin\alpha:sin\beta:sin\gamma\end{equation}

My favorite expression (the Stokes theorem):
Stokes-tétel <G. G. Stokes nevéről>: (mat) egy →felületi integrál és egy →vonalintegrál között kapcsolatot teremtő összefüggés. Ha F összefüggő, irányított, korlátos, sima →felület, amelyet a rektifikálható, zárt G →görbe határol és G →irányítása olyan, hogy körüljárása F →normálisa felől nézve pozitív, továbbá ha az F felületen értelmezett v(r) →vektor–vektor függvény folytonosan differenciálható, akkor \begin{equation}\iint \limits_{(F)} \rm {rot} \mathop{\boldsymbol{v}} \mathop{ \rm {d} \boldsymbol{F}} = \oint \limits_{(G)} \boldsymbol{v} \mathop{\rm {d} \boldsymbol{r}}. \end{equation}
